Rain Cancels DIRTcar Summer Nationals, DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals Events at Paducah International Raceway
PADUCAH, Ky. – June 26, 2015 – Rain has forced DIRTcar Racing and Paducah International Raceway officials to cancel tonight’s DIRTcar Summer Nationals and DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals events. Earlier on Friday it was announced that Saturday’s races at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 were also cancelled because of weather and rising water near the track.
The two series return to action on Sunday at Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway. Bobby Pierce continues to lead the DIRTcar Summer Nationals championship while Tyler Nicely used his runner-up finish on Thursday night at Clarksville to move back atop the DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals championship.
