Dehm, who was runner-up in last year’s rescheduled event, started second and got the jump polesitter Dave Porth of Gardner, Ill., and held off a charging Gary Cook Jr., of Deer Creek, Ill., en route to the win.  Cook Jr. settled for second after battling from his tenth-place starting spot.  Fellow Illinois driver T.D. Burger followed Cook Jr. through the field working his way from eleventh to third in the final rundown. Indian duo Jake Ruefer of Roanoke and John Demoss of Bloomington rounded out the top five.
