Conoyer Dominates Field at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55
PEVELY, MO — June 30, 2018 — St Peters, MO’s Rick Conoyer brought home his first Summit Modified Nationals feature victory of 2018 completing his sweep of evening. Rick was able to maintain his lead throughout the race as Mike Harrison worked the extreme high side of the track trying to make up ground on the blistering pace set by Conoyer.
“We ran a few of theses races early on and we faded in features. This new car is awesome and tonight we were just good good good and brought home a checkered flag,” commented Conoyer after the event.
“We are going to be running at every track on the tour from here out except for a couple and I think we’re going to be good.”
Mike Harrison kept his car flying around the high side for a 2nd place finish while holding off Friday night’s winner Kenny Wallace. Wallace would creep along the bottom to finish in third ahead of Jim Black and Dean Hoffman.
