Bollinger Races to Peoria Speedway Summit Modified Nationals Victory

 

Peoria, Ill. — July 2, 2012 — Ray Bollinger of Kewanee, Ill., became the 16th different winner in 17 events on the DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals Monday night at Peoria (Ill.) Speedway.· Bollinger picked up $1,000 for the win.

Bollinger held off a late race challenge from NASCAR veteran Kenny Wallace of Concord, N.C., earning his second career Summit Modified Nationals win.· Wallace finished second after a spirited battle with third finishing Mike Harrison of Highland, Ill.· Steve Lach of Brownstown, Ill., finished fourth and current Summit Modified Nationals point leader Gabe Menser of Ashmore, Ill., rounded out the top five.
