Arneson Wheels to Wilmot Raceway Summit Modified Nationals Triumph
Wilmot, Wis. — June 17, 2012 — Lance Arneson of Oconto Falls, Wis., fought off multiple challenges Sunday night at Wilmot Speedway to claim the fifth race of the DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals at Wilmot Raceway worth a cool $1,000.
Arneson, runner up Mitch McGrath of Neosho, Wis., and Russ Reinwald of Juneau, Wis., swapped the lead multiple times over the final 10 circuits, ending with Arneson in Victory Lane for the first Modified Nationals win of his career. McGrath finished second ahead of Reinwald. Father and son duo Brian and Mike Mullen both of Seymour, Wis., rounded out the top five.
