06/27/19 Brownstown Speedway

BROWNSTOWN, IN — June 27, 2019 — Former World of Outlaws Champion Mike Marlar stole the lead from Cade Dillard in Lap 17 and fought off Darrell Lanigan for his first DIRTcar Summer Nationals win of the season at Brownstown Speedway. Lanigan and Scott James completed the podium.

PEORIA, IL — June 26, 2019 — Brian Shirley claimed the VP Racing Fuels Checkered flag at Peoria Speedway from the outside front row. Brandon Sheppard started off strong on the bottom until Shirley got a grip on the outside and powered to the lead. Bobby Pierce worked to the runner-up position with Frank Heckenast Jr.

FAIRBURY, IL  — June 22, 2019 — Defending DIRTcar Summer Nationals Champion Brian Shirley, of Chatham, IL, fended off Frank Heckenast Jr. to win his 22nd all-time Summer Nationals Feature and get his second win at Fairbury Speedway in tour history, this one worth $10,000. Heckenast and Tanner English rounded out the podium.

CANTON, IL — June 20, 2019 — Defending DIRTcar Summer Nationals Champion Brian Shirley scored his second win of the season at Spoon River Speedway. Shirley stole the lead from polesitter Shannon Babb on the opening lap and remained unchallenged for the remaining 39 laps. Tyler Erb and Frank Heckenast rounded out the podium.
